The main goal of this app is to replace your wallet. All the papers you usually keep in your wallet and pockets should be replaceable by this app. Notes, loyalty cards, and receipts are all available in this app. You can nicely organize everything, which means you'll never lose a receipt again to claim your warranty. You can also easily track your spendings and remaining budget.
This redesign wasn't just a visual update. Together with the product owner, I made sure to make the most important features more accessible and easier to use. I then worked closely with the developers to get started on implementing the design and delivering all the documentation needed.
This startup wants to create the best products for restaurant owners, staff, and visitors. The goal of this app is for restaurant owners to be able to run their complete business from a mobile device.
During the research phase I created a product roadmap, existing of the best and most important features from competitors, but also possible new features to implement in the product. Once we had decided on the core features, it was time to get started with the visuals. The branding was to be done by an agency, so the design of the app had to be flexible enough for the styles to be easily changeable.
The app enables restaurant managers and staff to have a status overview of the table areas and bills. The app is also a point-of-sale system, which allows staff to take orders and pay bills.
This concept is set up for people to create, check, split, and pay the bill. All from their phones. Imagine going out to eat and having dinner together with a group. Everyone wants to order something different, varying in price as well. They can do so with their own app and monitor the check at the same time. When finished, all the enjoyed products can be split with the app and paid separately. No more hassle with ‘going dutch’ on the bill.
The app might only become more relevant and necessary in the (near) future, to make sure guests can create, follow, and pay the bill with less human interaction and movement (to prevent the spread of viruses).
Not everyone has a grand piano in their home, however, with this Android app, you can play the piano from your couch. Users can learn to play the piano by picking well-known songs and even record themselves.
I focused on updating the look and creating a style to make the app distinguish from the other traditional piano-apps. Not long after the redesign was implemented, app downloads rose by 125%, and the reviews are still very positive to-date.
I have hidden the product names of the listed projects on purpose. Some of the projects are not out yet and I can't share too many details publicly. If you want more info on the project's process, progress, and details, I'd be happy to chat.
